SINGAPORE, Sept 5 (Bernama) -- Singapore has launched two publications, 'Blue Paper' and 'Solutions', which outlined imperatives, including the need to price water to reflect its scarcity while ensuring its affordability.
In a statement today, national water agency, PUB, said they also outlined the need to adopt an integrated approach to water planning and management to reap greater efficiencies.
It said Minister for Environment and Water Resources, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, launched the publications at the International Desalination Association (IDA) World Congress 2011 on Desalination & Water Reuse in Perth, Australia today. Full story
