Project in KTM land swap to go on despite dispute over development charges

SINGAPORE: Malaysia and Singa­pore do not expect any delay in developing the parcels of land in the republic that both sides had agreed to despite a dispute be­tween them regarding charges to be imposed for the development.
Both countries are expected to take this dispute to the Permanent Court of Arbitration for a decision.
It is learnt that development charges, which apply to businesses seeking to develop any land in Singapore, will be significant for the development of the parcels of land under the Points of Agreement (POA) between the two countries. Full story
