Luxury property values rise 10 per cent in 1H

Savills’ recent global billionaire property index makes for interesting reading. According to Savills index; multi million pound homes for sale in the top 10 most expensive cities in the world have risen 10 per cent in value this year. Compare this to an increase of 6 per cent for ordinary homes in the same cities. Houses owned by billionaires rose in value by one tenth in the first half of 2011.
The 10 ‘world class’ cities are: Hong Kong, London, Moscow, Mumbai, New York, Paris, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo. Full story
