Yahoo! Singapore News, 7 Aug 2011Six Presidential hopefuls have submitted their application forms to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility to contest this year's Presidential Election.
The six are: former Deputy Prime Minister Tony Tan, 71, former Member of Parliament Tan Cheng Bock, 71, former NTUC Income chief executive officer Tan Kin Lian, 63, former senior civil servant and opposition candidate Tan Jee Say, 57, former JTC Corporation group chief financial officer Andrew Kuan, 57, and private tutor Ooi Boon Ewe, 71.
