Removing the mineral phosphorus from water could be more important than worrying about oil or global warming, says the winner of a top Asian prize for water research.

The South African scientist won this year's Lee Kuan Yew Prize - the equivalent of the Nobel Prize for water.
But speaking to ABC radio in Australia, Dr Barnard warned that as populations increase - and water becomes more scarce - the price we pay for water will rise. Full story
