Singapore. Nine in 10 maids are satisfied with working in Singapore, and a majority of them intend to continue working here after their contracts expire, according to a recent Ministry of Manpower (MOM) survey.
Almost all say they get adequate food and rest, and about half say they get at least one rest day a month.
The survey, which polled 900 maids and 450 employers last year, is the first large-scale study of its kind here, said the ministry. Full story
