Dr Tony Tan continues to face allegations from netizens on the National Service (NS) stint of Dr Patrick Tan, who is the son of the presidential candidate.
Dr Patrick Tan served as a Defence Medical Scientist during his NS and performed research at the National Cancer Centre. He is said to have disrupted his NS for 12 years due to overseas studies.
Netizens are alleging that Dr Patrick Tan's NS vocation of "Defence Medical Scientist" does not exist. This is based on the experience of "clerk" who served during 2005 to 2007 at the Central Manpower Base under the Ministry of Defence. Full story
