Tiger Airways top executives from Singapore apparently failed to impress Australia's safety watchdog yesterday at meetings in Melbourne designed to get the airline flying again.
Tiger Airways Holdings chief executive Tony Davis led a delegation from the embattled airline to try to convince the Civil Aviation Safety Authority that the airline was on the right track to solving a raft of safety concerns.
The West Australian understands it will be more likely weeks, not days, before the airline gets the green light to carry passengers. Full story
