TIGER Airways chief executive Tony Davis is believed to be heading to Australia from the carrier's Singapore headquarters to deal with the airline's surprise grounding yesterday.
It is not clear yet whether Tiger will take legal action and seek to get the ban lifted or simply work with the regulator to address the pilot training issues it says led to the gounding.
Mr Davis yesterday rejected the Civil Aviation Safety Authority's view that the airline was a serious and immediate risk to safety and said he was "very disappointed" that the airline had been grounded. Full story
