The Straits Times newspaper reported Wednesday that the union representing cabin crew is in negotiations with airline management to raise the mandatory retirement age for female cabin crew allowing them to work later in years.
The proposed change would allow a female crew members to extend their airborne working life by as much as three years - but they'd still have to retire to ground jobs once they reached their mid 40s - long before the city state's retirement age of 62. Full story
