Yahoo! Singapore News, 17 Jul 2011Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam has warned Singaporeans that they should prepare themselves for the impact of a sluggish global economy in the coming months.
However, the Finance Minister said that the fundamentals of the local economy are still strong, and a major global crisis like the one in 2008 is unlikely to happen.
