On 20 July 2011, SingPost lodged a Police report on a break-in at its Mail Transit Room (MTR) in Choa Chu Kang (CCK). Some ordinary mail items intended for three private housing/property in CCK were discovered missing. These ordinary mail items include personal mail from service providers, promotional mail and publications. Registered mail and parcels to the areas were not affected.
SingPost is working closely with the Police in their investigations.
SingPost has notified the affected residents about the incident. It also wishes to inform senders who had posted mail on 18 and 19 July 2011 to residents of the three private housing areas namely Verde View, Yew Mei Condominium's Blk 50 CCK Nth 6 and Windermere Condominium's Blk 22/26/28 CCK St 64 about the incident and that they may wish to re-send their items.
