US regulator raises 'lax' Singapore fears

Singapore has been pinpointed by a senior futures US regulator as a potential weak spot for lax trading regulations and financial sector arbitrage.
Bart Chilton of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission in Holland this week said that the migration of trading to "less well regulated" areas could lead to a short-term "race to the regulatory bottom". Full story
