In line with Singapore’s new e-Government Masterplan 2011–2015 (eGov2015) , the Deputy Prime Minister, Teo Chee Hean, announced the launch of data.gov.sg and mGov@SG—two public services meant to give citizens new public services and delivery channels.
After from transforming into a mobile government, eGov2015 also sees the Singapore government sharing textual data with the private and people sectors through the new data.gov.sg portal—a website hosting more than 5000 publicly-available datasets from more than 50 public agencies. Full story
