Colombo, Jun 19 (PTI) An Indian national was arrested at the Bandaranaike international airport here today for trying to smuggle out foreign currency, airport officials said.
The unidentified man was caught in possession of US dollars and Saudi Riyals amounting to 200 million in Sri Lankan currency while trying to board a flight to Singapore, they said.
They added that he might have been provided with the currency packet at the airport. Full story
