SPH Chairman and former PAP minister Dr Tony Tan has picked up forms for the Certificate of Eligibility to contest in upcoming presidential election, according to the latest update from Channel News Asia.
Speaking to reporters at the Election Department, Dr Tan claimed that he will be standing in the contest as an ‘independent’ candidate’ if he is granted a Certificate of Eligibility. Full story
