The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) of Singapore announced on Monday that it has suspended the import of Sunlight Brand drinks from China's Taiwan for failing tests for the industrial plasticiser DEHP.
The authority said it has so far tested 26 samples from 13 brands for DEHP, a plasticiser used to soften plastics and make them flexible and not meant for food use and should not be added to food. Full story
