Lee Hsien Loong Pledges To Look Into Best Interests Of Singaporeans

SINGAPORE, May 8 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has pledged to look into the best interests of Singaporeans for giving the People's Action Party (PAP) a strong mandate to carry on administrating the country.
He said the voters had decided and he was "humbled" that they voted the PAP back to power.
"Voters have given the PAP a strong mandate but I am aware of the concerns and issues the voters have put across. We hear all your voices," Lee was quoted as saying Sunday by local television channel, Channel NewsAsia, at a post-victory news conference following the republic's general election Saturday.
