(RTTNews) - Singapore retail sales declined again in February due to a sharp fall in motor vehicle sales, official data showed Friday.
Retail sales dropped unexpectedly by 3.6 percent month-on-month in February at current prices, following a revised 2.5 percent drop in January, the Department of Statistics said. Economists were expecting an increase of 1.6 percent. Excluding motor vehicles, retail sales were down 0.1 percent. Full story
