The Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) has completed its investigation of alleged steel dumping practices. “The recommendation was submitted to the Finance Ministry last week,” said KADI chairman Muchtar in Jakarta yesterday.
Steel imports from China, the Ukraine, and Singapore were believed to have been sold in the Indonesian market for very low prices. The three countries were selling their steel products in Indonesia cheaper than in their own countries and raised speculation they were dumping their products. Full story
