Singapore Suspends Food Imports From Quake-Affected Parts Of Japan

SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)--Singapore has suspended food imports from areas of Japan where radioactivity was detected in some food products following the March 11 earthquake that damaged reactors at a nuclear power plant in the northeastern part of the nation.
The suspension comes after the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of received information that the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare has detected high radioactivity levels in raw milk and vegetables from Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi and Gunma prefectures. Full story
