Singapore-born law student kicks ibis to death in Brisbane

A STUDENT who was being stalked by an ibis for his sandwich wrestled the bird to the ground and stomped on it until it was so badly injured it had to be put down.
Andrew Quay Wee Meng, 25, pleaded guilty in Brisbane Magistrate's Court yesterday to animal cruelty on March 1.
The court was told he had been eating a sandwich in a Brisbane park when the bird "snuck up from behind" and jumped on to his table. Full story
