Raffles Education scrapped plan to establish $100m university

PLANS for a university in Midland have stalled after Singapore-based Raffles Education Corporation confirmed it had withdrawn its application to establish a $100 million college at the railway workshops.
Neither Raffles representatives nor WA Education Minister Liz Constable would discuss the reasons for withdrawing the plans that Raffles submitted last April.
Dr Constable said Raffles wrote to her on February 21 advising of its decision to withdraw. Full story
