SINGAPORE (Nikkei)--Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong told visiting representatives of the Japan Business Federation, or Nippon Keidanren, on Thursday that he wants Japan to join the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
In his meeting with Keidanren officials touring Southeast Asia, Lee welcomed Kan's stance, saying that Japan's joining the TPP would be an important step toward economic integration in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation region. Full story
