Singapore to Carve Own Path for Ascending Fertility Rates

In a bid to promote healthy parenting and successful marriages, government is now planning to take some steps for the welfare of its people.
Wong Kan Seng, the Deputy Prime Minister, said during a recent media briefing that, "It would be appropriate to look and see next year, or in the year after next. If this year, we sustain our growth - although not at the same rate - then we see what more can we do”.
The idea of applying Nordic model for the country was considered but many felt that it cannot prove to be beneficial for the country, if employed practically. Full story
