Singapore government will have more scope to help lower-income households cope with the rising living costs thanks to the booming economy, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said in his Chinese New Year message Wednesday.Lee said that external factors including external low interest rates and abundant liquidity are pushing up property prices, while rising oil and food prices are pushing up other factors in the consumer prices index.
