A Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight to Australia was forced to turn back to the city-state early Monday when its windshield cracked an hour after departure, the carrier said.
"Flight SQ237 bound for Melbourne returned to Singapore early this morning after a crack formed on the first officer's windshield about one hour after departure," SIA said in a statement.
The Boeing 747-400 left Singapore near midnight on Sunday. The plane landed without incident and another aircraft ferried the passengers to Melbourne. Link
