2010 GDP: Singapore and Malaysia head for photo finish

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 18 – Malaysia and Singapore appear locked in a photo finish race to be Southeast Asia’s third largest economy ahead of the release of the former’s 2010 GDP data later today.
Malaysia has long held its position as the third most valuable economy in the region behind Indonesia and Thailand but the former 14th state’s blistering growth would likely have seen it overtake Malaysia last year and given pervasive trends, possibly for the foreseeable future as well. Full story
