Between 2000 and 2010, the proportion of singles among younger age groups has risen from 33 to 43 per cent for males, and 22 to 31 per cent for females.
The number of childless women has risen significantly for women aged 30-39 years old, from 14 to 20 per cent.
The number of families with only one child has also increased from 15 to 19 per cent. Full story
