SINGAPORE, Jan 28 (Bernama) -- The Singapore government has given out loans worth S$9.2 billion to 14,000 local companies to help them cushion the impact of the global economic crisis over the last two years.
However, the government has decided to terminate some of the loan facilities effective Feb 1, due to an improved global economy, the city-state's Trade and Industry, and Finance ministries said Friday.
