BUCHAREST, Romania - A former Romanian diplomat charged in a hit-and-run accident that killed a man in Singapore has been released from prison until his next trial date Jan. 12.Silviu Ionescu has been in jail since May and was released after a court decided he was unlikely to continue trying to influence witnesses.
