Fifty-Percent Increase in the Number of Women Suffering from HIV in Singapore

The Ministry of Health while releasing the data of infected people for the year has informed that there were 463 cases of HIV in Singapore last year. It was also revealed that out of the 463 cases, 418 were related to men, out of whom 115 men were married or were in long-term relationships.
The number of women infected by the virus rose by 50% from 30 to 45 this year. It was found that most of the women, who were infected by the virus, were in long-term relationships or were married. Full story
