The ongoing construction of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City will receive a donation of 6.16 million U.S. dollars from the Global Environment Fund, which was approved by the World Bank. The donation will be used to help the eco city establish its legislative, institutional, financial, and monitoring systems. The promotion of green transportation and architecture is also listed as a focus of the donation. Full story
