S. Korea President Lee in Singapore to seek int'l support for N. Korea policy

SINGAPORE, June 4 (Yonhap) -- South Korean President Lee Myung-bak arrived in Singapore Friday where he plans to appeal for the international community to back South Korea's stern countermeasures against North Korea for its surprise naval attack in March.
Lee will also specify when his government will refer the incident to the U.N. Security Council when he delivers the opening keynote speech later in the day at the Shangri-La Dialogue, an annual gathering of defense ministers and other top military officials from the U.S., South Korea, China and two dozen other nations, officials said.
