Singapore students score perfectly on IB exams

Less than one percent of students worldwide in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program receive full marks, a score of 45 on their IB diploma, according to the International Baccalaureate Organization. Singapore’s Anglo-Chinese School (Independent), however, defied odds and had 9 students obtain a perfect IB score in 2008.
In order to obtain an IB diploma, students must have an average of four on their IB exams and at least a score of 24 to earn their diploma. Students also cannot have a failing extended essay or prescribed title, the Theory of Knowledge external assessment, even though they count as bonus points. Full Story
