Singapore gets its first Internet radio station

We finally have an alternative to the various terrestrial radio stations in Singapore -- 170Radio.com. It's Singapore's first Internet radio to take to the cyber airwaves after almost a year of testing and trials. It's free to listen to and in their own words, aims to bring "everything that's edgy, real and of course, authentic" to Singapore.
Listeners can tune in virtually at the 170Radio.com website, and for mobile users, there's a free iPhone app (search for "170 Radio" in the Apple App Store), listed under Singapore on Nokia Internet Radio (which is download-able for free from the Ovi Store) and for Blackberry addicts, it can be found under "Country: Singapore" through Nobex Radio Companion in Blackberry's App World. There's no word yet of a Google Android equivalent, but it's probably not too far away. Full Story
