GIC subscribed to Satluj Jal Vidyut's IPO

Investors, both retail and institutions, have lapped up the Rs 1,079-crore initial public offering of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam's (SJVNL), which was subscribed 6.61 times when it closed on Monday.
A merchant banker to the issue said that the institutions also included GIC of Singapore which subscribed to shares worth almost Rs130 crore. SBI bid for shares worth Rs 300 crore, LIC for Rs 200 crore, and ICICI Prudential for Rs 1,000 crore, he added. Full Story
