The number of hand, foot and mouth disease has been increasing at an alarming rate in Singapore. The number even surpassed the warning level of 500 cases in the last three weeks, though it went down slightly to 496 in the last week that ended March 20.During the first three weeks of the year, about 4,269 cases were reported, which is about 15% more as compared to the same period previous year.
