New Developments at Singapore’s Integrated Resorts to Draw More Middle East Visitors

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) is forecasting a total of 11.5 million to 12.5 million guests will visit the garden city this year – up from 9.7 million in 2009, with a rise in tourism receipts to between $17.5 –S$18.5 billion.
“2010 will be a landmark year for Singapore’s tourism sectors with our Integrated Resorts adding to an already compelling suite of tourism attractions. I am confident that Singapore will attract an increasing number of travellers from the Middle East as they continue to discover Singapore’s array of enriching experiences,” commented Jason Ong, Area Director for the Middle East and Africa, STB.
