SINGAPORE has made no secret of its wish to become a global maritime hub offering a complete range of services and has been taking a close look at what centres elsewhere, including London, have to offer.
Singapore’s latest move, with tax concessions offered in this week’s budget to attract shipbrokers and forward freight agreement traders, undoubtedly poses a threat to London.
