Singapore Arrests Eight in First Four Days of Casino

Feb. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Singapore arrested eight people and jailed one within four days of opening its first casino, the Straits Times newspaper reported.
A 49-year-old Indonesian man was jailed for four weeks after he lost S$1,000 at the city-state’s Resorts World Sentosa casino and was later caught stealing a mobile phone at Changi Airport, the Times said, citing court proceedings. Full Story
