Sands: Macau, Singapore are 'distinct markets'

President and chief executive of Marina Bay Sands, Thomas Arasi, said Singapore and Macau can exist together peacefully in the Asian tourism market, the Sydney Morning Herald (SMH) reported yesterday.
According to Arasi, the two places are "culturally and geographically distinct markets". While Singapore is in a "strategic location" and is a "global destination", Macau is "important in north Asia and attracts many mainland Chinese tourists". Full Story
