Singapore Casino Employees Fired Before First Cards are Dealt

Both Resorts World Sentosa and Marina Bay Sands have revealed that they were forced to release a number of their employees. owing to stringent rules over who can legally work at each site – with the former terminating the contracts of 30 people.
According to The Straits Times, the released employees had their applications to work at the gaming tables rejected by the Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) and, although no specific reasons were given as to why, it is likely that the decision centres on the workers having had brushes with the law in the past.
