SingTel has joined the world’s fastest undersea cable project as Singapore seeks to improve its external connectivity to match the capacity created by its next-generation national broadband network. Simon Kearney reports.SingTel has invested in the Unity Cable, along with Google and others, between Japan and the US to boost connectivity to the US when it comes on line in the next couple of months.
