SINGAPORE, Aug 24 (Reuters) - Singapore and Britain signed a new double taxation treaty on Monday, bringing the city-state towards meeting OECD standards on exchange of information, Singapore's Finance Ministry said.
The deal marked the third agreement Singapore has signed that features the new internationally agreed standard for the exchange of information upon request to chase tax evaders and follows agreements with New Zealand and Belgium.
