Singapore more prepared to handle pandemic: official

SINGAPORE, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Singapore has been more prepared to tackle the A/H1N1 outbreak this time round, responding very swiftly with measures to keep the situation under control.
Singapore's Minister for Community and Development, Youth and Sports Vivian Balakrishnan said Tuesday at a national day observance ceremony at the National University Hospital.
