Singapore’s Temasek to Invest S$437.5 Million in Olam

June 1 (Bloomberg) -- Temasek Holdings Pte. will invest S$437.5 million ($303 million) for a 13.76 percent stake in Olam International Ltd., a Singapore-based agricultural commodities supplier.
Breedens Investments Pte and Aranda Investments Pte, two subsidiaries of the Singapore state-owned investment company, will buy 273.5 million new shares in Olam at S$1.60 apiece, the commodities supplier said in a statement to the city’s stock exchange. The price is 18 percent lower than the May 29 closing price of S$1.94.
