CHANDIGARH: The Singapore trip of 30 doctors from government hospitals in the city, which had raised eyebrows, and turned serious enough for marking of an inquiry by the adviser to the governor, has some skeletons tumbling.
Faculty members at Government Medical College and Hospital Sector-32 and PGI have questioned involvement of Catholic health association foundation that pumped in money for the trip and its source of income.
’The Catholic foundation received funds from Singapore government and siphoned them off to this NGO for making the task easier,’’ said a faculty from GMCH on condition of anonymity.
