SIA sees light at the end of the tunnel

After a dismal financial performance in 2008/09, Singapore Airlines (SIA) says advance passenger bookings indicate the drop in demand for air travel is levelling out, though Influenza A’s long-term impact still is an unknown.
In the near term, says SIA, promotional pricing and reduced business travel will keep revenues, though lower oil prices - jet fuel currently is less than half last year’s peak – is providing savings.
