RMIT caught in Singaporean scam

Campus Review, 29 Jun 2009
RMIT is considering what legal action to take after it became embroiled in a scam which saw dozens of Singaporean students paying up to $16,000 each for degrees purporting to be from the university. Brooke's Business School was offering one-year courses leading to a fake RMIT bachelor of business degree for between $10,000 and $16,000. A valid three-year degree from a recognised RMIT partner costs around $25,000.
